Current Witchblade wielder Sara Pezzini has been to Hell and back. Just as she's finally starting to put her private and professional life back together, the Universe decides it has other plans. Sara must help a kindred spirit in Abby van Alstine, the Necromancer, come to grips with her powers and mantle, then is drawn into the epic Artifacts storyline when her daughter Hope is kidnapped and her sister Julie is killed by the same robotic assassin Sara let escape in the recent past.
